February

So, February. A month of winters and contradictions. Spring sprung, then bounced right out again to make room for yet more winter which hasn't finished with us yet. I write this in March looking out over the hills at snow still clinging on to the heather. Bees still hiding, but I spotted my first Lapwing at the weekend, which cheered me up no end. Watching them in flight does nothing but good for the soul.

  5. I'm loving these monthly 'round-up' sketches, such a good idea, really clever. If I tried to do this I'd mess it up at the layout stage! :o)

  6. I also love the calendar approach to your sketches. I think I might want to give it a try, myself. These are so interesting, well done, and fun to look at! nancy

  8. I really enjoy these - and that last panel is just great it really expresses the slowness of snow filled days.

  10. How long have you been doing the "bee" thing. Is it difficult? This is something I am thinking about trying. I had an Uncle who had bees up until his death. X.

  12. Bees are addictive Bogaman. Once you start you get hooked as they are fascinating. Still a beginner, so no doubt making lots of mistakes, so hopefully they're patient enough to let me carry on and learn from them!
