how lovely! The way that the yellow of the petals is reflected on the leaves does make this feel quite warming. And since all my flowers are covered in a giant dumping of snow, this watercolour has arrived in a very timely manner. Summery indeed, and really, really pretty!
There is nothing quite like burying your nose in the soft velvety petals of a fully open English rose to inhale all that fragrance. Your beautiful watercolor brought back nose memories! ahhhh :)
Gorgeous! I don't mind at all, and Iwould you mind if I copy it at some point? I am learning water colors, and I find it easier to copy other peoples paintings rather than painting from life or a photographs.
Ahhhh, now that is a sketch to dream about!!!
ReplyDeleteMind??? Oh no, not at all, as I gaze upon our snow covered land. This watercolor is exquisite - thanks for bringing us a taste of summer! nancy
